Account Director

Overview

In this role you lead the delivery of a Cleaning contract for retail clients, ensuring safety, compliance, and high service standards. You’ll own budget and commercial performance while developing strong client partnerships and driving continuous improvement. You work with a cross-functional team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and foster an inclusive, values-driven culture. The position offers travel across the UK (excluding Scotland) and a car option or allowance, aligning with our focus on reliable, scalable facilities management across sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and drive contract delivery for the Cleaning contract with Retail clients
• Own full budgetary and commercial performance
• Promote safety, opportunity, inclusiveness, and diversity in the team
• Ensure statutory compliance, KPI adherence, and high service standards
• Embed Continuous Improvement in service delivery to add value for business and client
• Manage customer relationships and deliver an exceptional customer experience and true partnership

Key requirements

• Extensive FM leadership experience at Senior Management level
• Experience in Cleaning/Soft Services; broader FM experience considered
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with large delivery teams
