The RoleYou will take responsibility for the electrical design and delivery of building services projects, from early-stage concept and scheme design through to detailed design and construction.The role will involve managing multiple projects and coordinating delivery across clients, design teams and internal disciplines.Manage the electrical building services design and delivery of multiple projectsDevelop electrical design strategies, concept designs and scheme proposalsTake responsibility for detailed electrical design, specifications and technical outputPlan project workloads, design programmes and delivery deadlinesAttend client, design team and project meetingsCoordinate electrical designs with other engineering disciplinesSupervise, delegate to and support junior engineersReview technical work and maintain appropriate design and QA standardsSupport projects through construction and post-contract stages, including site meetings, installation reviews, testing, defects and completion
About YouYou will be an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in building services design, ideally gained within an engineering consultancy or similar MEP design environment. You should be comfortable managing your own projects and representing the consultancy directly with clients and wider project teams.We are looking for someone who is hard-working, focused and driven, with strong time and task management skills and a collaborative approach. You will need to be comfortable balancing multiple deadlines and taking responsibility for both your own work and the wider delivery of your projects. xwwtmva Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineStrong experience in electrical building services designExperience taking responsibility for project delivery and managing multiple projectsConfident working directly with clients and other members of the design teamAbility to supervise, delegate to and support junior engineersStrong technical capability and a good understanding of design quality and QAGood working knowledge of relevant electrical design softwareUK driving licence preferable, with some travel to meetings and project sites required
