Childcare Assistant Level 3

About the Role

This role sits within the Family Activities Team and helps create a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive while their parents enjoy the club. The role involves building positive relationships with children and families, delivering engaging activities, and helping create exceptional experiences that make every visit memorable. The position is 16 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children at all times.
• Ensure the Club V environment is safe, attractive and welcoming for all children.
• Adhere to all company and government policies and procedures.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Deliver engaging activities.
• Help create exceptional experiences that make every visit memorable.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2/3 qualification in a child related field.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Health and Social Care does not cover the required qualification.
• Friendly, calm and approachable nature.
• Ability to act quickly and effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team and inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to support both staff and members.
• Ability to build relationships with parents and caregivers.
