About the Role
We’re representing a long-established and highly respected independent accountancy practice based in Warrington, known for delivering expert tax and business advisory services to family-owned and owner-managed businesses across the North West. Due to continued client growth, they are seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join their specialist tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CTA-qualified professional to take ownership of complex advisory projects, work directly with Partners, and play a key role in delivering high-value tax solutions to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare technical reports across a range of private client and corporate tax projects
Manage advisory assignments from initial planning through to implementation and completion
Liaise with solicitors, banks and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Provide tax planning advice to family-owned and owner-managed businesses
Support clients through complex business challenges with creative tax solutions
Assist with technical training and mentoring junior team members
Deliver internal workshops and client presentations where required
Work closely with Tax Partners on advisory projects and strategic client matters
Maintain strong client relationships and identify additional advisory opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
CTA qualified
Strong experience across private client and corporate tax advisory work
Previous experience within an accountancy practice or tax advisory firm
Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation
Experience managing tax projects from start to completion
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities
Commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused approach
