This is a serious opportunity for an experienced CSA Construction Manager to move into an owner-side construction oversight role, working on technically demanding, high-value developments where programme performance, construction quality and delivery really matter.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering major hyperscale data centre projects, overseeing General Contractors and specialist subcontractors across Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) construction.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring construction progresses safely, efficiently and to programme, with particular emphasis on contractor performance, construction sequencing, building envelope completion and MEPF installation readiness.
This is a hands-on delivery position for someone who understands construction, spots problems early and knows how to keep major projects moving.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee major CSA packages including foundations, structural steelwork, roofing, cladding and building envelope systems.
- Challenge Tier 1 contractors on progress, resources, sequencing and programme recovery.
- Coordinate CSA and MEPF interfaces to protect critical installation and commissioning milestones.
- Review construction drawings, technical submissions, methodologies and quality standards.
- Identify programme risks, resolve construction constraints and maintain delivery momentum.
- Monitor inspections, defects and construction readiness through to handover.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years’ construction delivery experience, including significant CSA construction management.
- Strong technical understanding of civil works, reinforced concrete, structural steelwork and building envelope construction.
- Experience overseeing General Contractors and specialist subcontractors on major construction projects.
- Proven construction sequencing, programme management, quality assurance and multidisciplinary coordination capability.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Confidence challenging contractors, resolving site issues and driving construction progress.
Particularly Interested in Candidates With
- Hyperscale or colocation data centre construction experience.
- Backgrounds in mission-critical facilities, large-scale industrial developments or complex infrastructure.
- Previous Tier 1 Main Contractor, construction consultancy or Owner’s Representative experience.
- Knowledge of MEPF installation readiness, phased handovers or Level 4/5 commissioning.
Don’t have direct data centre experience? If you’ve delivered major CSA packages on complex, high-value construction projects, your background could be highly relevant.

- Major hyperscale developments – work on highly technical infrastructure supporting global cloud computing operations.
- Real delivery influence – oversee contractor performance, challenge construction programmes and help drive critical milestones.
- Career-defining project exposure – gain experience in one of construction’s most technically demanding and rapidly evolving sectors.
