Hands-On Rail Mechanical Fitter — Training Provided

DB Cargo UK is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter to join the Wagons team at our Stoke depot. The role involves maintaining, repairing and overhauling rail freight wagons, with training provided and no prior rail experience required.

You will work in our engineering workshop on large wagons, using hand and power tools. The job offers a 36-hour week, ongoing development and a clear path to competency, with salary starting at £25,914 and rising to £28,842.
