Location: Watford
Job Description:

An excellent opportunity to join a financially strong, stable and growing international business with a genuinely friendly, collaborative and multicultural working environment.

We have worked with this client for over 22 years, placing hundreds of people across their UK offices. We know the company, its management and its culture extremely well.

It is a difficult company to get into and a very difficult company to get out of – because people simply don’t want to leave! Some employees have been with the business for over 20 years.

The management team is humble, polite, approachable and respectful. The company offers long‑term stability, career development and opportunities to grow.

Our client is looking for someone worthy of being part of their team. Our responsibility, having worked with them for so long, is not just to find someone with the right experience, but also to ensure that the wrong person does not join this company.

Attitude is key. We are looking for someone with a happy, friendly and polite personality, who is proactive, helpful and willing to take on any task, big or small. Someone who respects others, enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in what they do.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager / Workplace Manager / Office & Facilities Manager to join our client, an established group operating a portfolio of internationally recognised fashion and lifestyle brands.

This is a hands‑on role for someone with strong experience in office management, facilities, front‑of‑house operations and hospitality, ideally gained within a fashion, retail, showroom or multi‑brand environment.

You will take responsibility for the smooth day‑to‑day running of the offices, ensuring a professional, welcoming and well‑organised environment for employees, senior management, clients and visitors.

The Role

You will manage office operations while providing administrative, facilities and hospitality support to senior management and the wider business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily office operations, facilities, maintenance, cleanliness and presentation.
  • Overseeing reception, meeting rooms, showrooms, common areas and storage facilities.
  • Liaising with landlords, building management, contractors, suppliers and service providers.
  • Managing front‑of‑house operations, visitors, incoming calls and reception cover.
  • Coordinating meeting rooms, showroom appointments, hospitality, catering and refreshments.
  • Supporting customer presentations, product launches, seasonal showcases, sample sales and company events.
  • Managing office supplies, equipment, stationery, kitchen supplies and other workplace requirements.
  • Handling domestic and international couriers, deliveries, collections and sample shipments.
  • Supporting product teams with samples, showroom preparation, seasonal collections and storage organisation.
  • Coordinating brand compliance administration, product approvals and related documentation.
  • Managing office‑related budgets, invoices, expenses and supplier accounts.
  • Maintaining office systems, records and administrative processes.
  • Overseeing health and safety, risk assessments, fire safety and contractor compliance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Office Manager, Workplace Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong experience managing office operations, facilities and front‑of‑house services.
  • Experience in fashion, retail, showrooms or multi‑brand environments would be particularly relevant.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, visitors, hospitality and office events.
  • Ability to manage contractors, suppliers, maintenance and workplace services.
  • Experience supporting senior management and multiple departments.
  • A proactive, hands‑on attitude and willingness to take on any task, big or small.
  • A happy, friendly, polite and approachable personality.
  • Someone who is humble, respectful, helpful and enjoys working as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

We are particularly interested in someone who takes genuine ownership of the office environment, enjoys working with people and is equally comfortable managing facilities, welcoming visitors and supporting the practical needs of a busy fashion business.

Location: Watford – Office‑based role

Salary: Excellent, depending on experience and qualifications

If you are an experienced Office Manager who values a respectful working environment, long‑term stability, supportive management and the opportunity to grow, and you believe you have the right attitude to become a valued member of this team, I would be interested in hearing from you.
