At Orwell, we believe everyone deserves to live and work in an environment that feels safe, clean and welcoming. As a Cleaner, you’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards across our service, helping to create comfortable and hygienic spaces for customers, visitors and colleagues.

You’ll carry out cleaning duties across communal areas, offices, kitchens, bathrooms and other shared spaces, ensuring cleanliness, infection prevention and safety standards are maintained. You’ll also help keep cleaning equipment and storage areas organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Takes pride in maintaining clean, safe and welcoming environments
  • Is reliable, organised and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Has a positive and proactive approach to their work
  • Understands the importance of health and safety, infection control and maintaining high standards
  • Can manage their time effectively and respond flexibly to changing priorities
  • Has previous cleaning experience or transferable skills in a similar environment

About Christchurch House

Christchurch House is conveniently located close to Ipswich town centre, offering easy access to shops, cafs, leisure facilities and excellent public transport links. Situated directly opposite the beautiful Christchurch Park, it provides a peaceful green space perfect for a relaxing walk during your lunch break.

The service provides temporary supported accommodation for young people, each supported through a personalised, outcomebased plan.
