Delivery Operations Lead

Overview

In this role you will optimise the flow of work across our Shared Services, acting as a systems-thinking champion to improve throughput and reduce waste. You will partner with Product and Engineering to implement global practices, stabilise delivery, and accelerate time-to-market. You’ll apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to remove bottlenecks, map system impacts, and standardise tools for discovery and software delivery. You’ll translate operational data into clear, executive-level insights to drive continuous improvement. This is a chance to shape scalable tech delivery at a growth-focused insurer-tech company.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to overhaul end-to-end workflows and remove system-wide bottlenecks
• Build and maintain dynamic workflow maps to expose blockers and map system impacts
• Standardise and automate tools across Shared Services to streamline discovery and software delivery lifecycles
• Analyze core flow metrics (throughput, lead time, cycle time) to identify root causes
• Leverage Jira, BI platforms (Looker or Tableau) to visualise process health and quantify impact
• Empower teams with self-service tooling, training, and data advocacy to foster continuous improvement mindset

Key requirements

• Expert grasp of Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints applied to software delivery
• 2+ years hands-on experience as a data or software engineer
• Strong Jira administration skills
• Data visualization experience with Tableau or Looker
• Strategic communicator able to translate data into executive narratives
• Adaptable, resilient, able to handle ambiguity in fast-paced environments
