Mobile HGV Technician – Thetford

Location: Thetford / Norfolk

Salary: 40-42k + Signing Bonus & Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week – No weekends

Mobile HGV Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles at customer locations
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and vehicle system faults
• Carry out mobile maintenance and repair work
• Prepare commercial vehicles for MOT inspections
• Ensure vehicles meet required safety and quality standards
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Support workshop operations when required

Mobile HGV Technician Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician
• Strong HGV diagnostic, maintenance and repair skills
• Full Class 2 UK, Irish or EU Manual Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to pass the required security checks, including financial probity and basic criminality checks

Note: The £1,500 joining bonus is paid as £750 in the first month’s pay and £750 following successful completion of the 90-day probation period. Payments are subject to tax, National Insurance deductions and eligibility criteria.
