The Role | Business & Economics Teacher
Full-time Business & Economics Teacher position from January 2027Teach Business Studies and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5Deliver engaging, challenging and academically rigorous lessonsDevelop students’ understanding of business operations, economic principles, markets and financial decision-makingPlan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and independent thinkingMonitor student progress and implement strategies to maximise achievementContribute to curriculum planning, assessment and departmental developmentCollaborate with colleagues to share best practice and drive outstanding teaching and learningPromote a culture of high expectations, academic excellence and continuous improvementAbout You
PGCE with QTS from a recognised UK universityBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related subject from a recognised UK universityStrong academic background with excellent subject knowledge in Business and EconomicsProven experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at KS4 and KS5A track record of delivering strong academic outcomes and supporting student progressExcellent classroom management and communication skillsA genuine passion for Business and Economics educationHigh expectations of students and a commitment to securing outstanding outcomesStrong organisational, interpersonal and collaborative skillsA proactive approach to professional development and curriculum innovationThe School
