Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Coatbridge, ML5 4RPSalary: £32,610 per annum + paid overtimeHours: Monday to Friday, 5am – 2.30pmHoliday: 30 days’ paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team in Coatbridge.
This is a varied role combining customer deliveries with general warehouse responsibilities. The successful candidate will play an important part in the day-to-day operation, ensuring orders are accurately prepared and delivered to customers safely and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
·Carry out customer delivery drops using Class 2 vehicles and company vans.
·Pick and prepare items accurately for delivery.
·Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
·Carry out general warehouse duties.
·Ensure deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard.
·Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers.
·Carry out routine vehicle checks and follow company health and safety procedures.
·Work effectively as part of a small team.
·Occasional overtime may be required to ensure all daily deliveries are completed.
Requirements
·Full Class 2 (C) driving licence.
·Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
·Reliable, positive and hardworking attitude.
·Good attention to detail.
·Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience would be advantageous.
·Forklift experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
·Good customer service and communication skills.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Flexibility to work occasional overtime when required.
What We Offer
·£32,400 basic annual salary
·Authorised overtime paid separately each month
·Monday to Friday, 5am – 2.30pm
