Barnsley Council is seeking a Strategic Communications and Marketing Officer to support the Environment and Transport service on a 10-month fixed-term cover. You will craft compelling content, run integrated campaigns and use media relations to raise the council’s profile across the borough.

You’ll develop insight-led plans with SMART objectives, deliver digital strategies for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, and engage communities to tell their stories with clarity and impact.
