Commercial Disputes Paralegal Location: Leedsnnn An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join an established legal business in Leeds, supporting its Commercial Disputes team.nnn This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced fee earners, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial disputes across various industry sectors. It would suit someone with a genuine interest in litigation who is keen to develop their legal knowledge and build their career within a busy, client-focused environment.nnThe Rolennn Responsibilities will include:nnn

• Supporting fee earners with commercial dispute matters, assisting with client advice and case progression.

n

• Preparing legal documents, correspondence and other case-related documentation.

n

• Conducting legal research and developing knowledge of relevant legislation, legal remedies and compliance requirements.

n

• Assisting with file and case management, file audits and client due diligence.

n

• Maintaining accurate records and supporting time recording and billing processes.

n

• Contributing to departmental projects and initiatives to improve service delivery.

n

• Helping ensure matters are handled efficiently, accurately and in accordance with internal procedures.

n

About Younnn The successful candidate will ideally have:nnn

n
• Experience working within a legal or busy administrative environment.

n

• Some experience in commercial litigation and/or insurance litigation, although this is not essential.

n

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

n

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

n

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other business software.

n

• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

n

• The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

n

• A genuine interest in developing a career within commercial disputes.

n
