Minerals & Waste Planner – Environmental Impact Assessment Focus n We are currently working with a well-established planning consultancy to recruit a Minerals & Waste Planner with strong Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) knowledge to join their growing team. n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner looking to work within a collaborative and specialist environment, offering exposure to a varied project portfolio across minerals, waste, and environmental planning. n The Role n You will play a key role in supporting and delivering minerals and waste planning projects, with a particular focus on Environmental Impact Assessment work. The successful candidate will work closely with a close-knit team of planning professionals and environmental specialists on a range of complex and high-profile developments. n Responsibilities will include: n ·Preparing and managing planning applications for minerals and waste developments n ·Supporting and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) n ·Producing planning statements and technical reports n ·Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants n ·Advising clients on planning strategy and environmental considerations n ·Assisting with project delivery from inception through to determination n About You n The ideal candidate will have: n ·Previous experience within minerals and/or waste planning n ·Strong working knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) n ·Excellent report writing and communication skills n ·A proactive and collaborative approach to project work n ·MRTPI qualification or working towards chartership is desirable n The Team & Working Environment n ·Small, supportive team of approximately 10 people n ·Collaborative office culture with strong professional development opportunities n ·Office-based role – 4 days per week in the office n Interview Process n The interview process will consist of: n 1.Initial Microsoft Teams interview n 2.Final face-to-face meeting n n For further information or a confidential discussion, please apply today or get in touch with Tullula Farrell on 02393 876 021 / tullula.farrell@carringtonwest.com
