PST – Maintenance Planner

Overview

In this role, you will plan, schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance and repair work to keep equipment reliable and downtime to a minimum. You will work closely with the maintenance team to deliver timely, efficient service while upholding safety standards. You will analyze equipment data to spot issues and drive continuous improvement. This is a practical, hands-on position that supports manufacturing uptime and regulatory compliance, contributing to plant performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and systems
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule repair work
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify potential problems and areas for improvement
• Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and regulations
• Participate in the development and implementation of new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products under guidance

Key requirements

• Experience in a maintenance planning role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a maintenance environment
• Awareness of relevant external (legal, tax) and internal (e.g. decision authority, procure to pay) stewardship requirements and acts accordingly
• Seeks guidance from supervisors to ensure compliance and drives corrective actions as needed under supervision
