Company: RBW Consulting
Apply for the Clinical Research Associate
Location: London
Job Description:

Are you looking to build a career as a Clinical Research Associate within a specialist clinical research environment where you can develop your expertise, gain greater autonomy, and make a genuine impact?

Our client is a privately owned, specialist CRO operating at the intersection of science and technology. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Clinical Research Associate to join their London-based team.

This opportunity is particularly well suited to candidates looking to move into a commercial CRO environment from academia, healthcare, NHS research, clinical research units, or similar research‑focused settings.

Unlike larger organisations where CRAs can often find themselves spread across numerous studies and extensive travel schedules, this role offers a more focused approach. Working within a specialist organisation, you will have the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the science behind the studies you support, while benefiting from closer mentorship, greater ownership of your work, and exposure to the wider clinical research process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monitoring activities across clinical research studies.
  • Support site management and study conduct in line with protocol, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investigators and site staff.
  • Ensure study documentation is accurate, complete, and inspection-ready.
  • Work closely with clinical operations and scientific teams to support study delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous clinical trial monitoring experience is essential.
  • Experience may include independent monitoring or shadow monitoring.
  • Exposure to clinical research within a CRO, sponsor, NHS research, academic research, healthcare, or clinical trials environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work from the London office as required and on site visits.

What’s on Offer?

  • An excellent pathway into the commercial CRO sector.
  • The opportunity to develop within a highly specialised scientific organisation.
  • Greater visibility and autonomy than is often available within larger CROs.
  • Exposure to innovative research and cutting‑edge technologies.
  • Supportive environment with genuine opportunities for professional development and progression.
  • The chance to be part of a growing business where your contribution is recognised and valued.

If you have clinical trial monitoring experience and are looking for an environment where you can broaden your skills, deepen your scientific understanding, and take the next step in your CRA career, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
