Support Worker

Hours: Full time 9:00am-5:00pm | Monday – Friday

Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027

We’re looking for an experienced Support Worker to join an outreach team supporting people within the local community.

This is a hands-on outreach role where you’ll be working alongside colleagues at pop-up community stands, engaging with individuals who may need support and helping connect them with the right services.

The Role

• Working as part of an experienced outreach team
• Supporting people within community settings
• Attending pop-up stands and outreach sessions
• Building positive relationships with individuals and encouraging engagement
• Identifying support needs and signposting to appropriate services
• Working collaboratively with colleagues – outreach visits are always carried out in pairs
• Completing relevant records and maintaining professional boundaries

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working within outreach, support work, community services or a similar environment
• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly, approachable and non-judgemental attitude
• Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, flexible and confident engaging with people in community settings

Fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027.
