Who we’re looking for

  • Experience within an MGA, insurer, syndicate, delegated authority or London Market environment.
  • Strong understanding of insurance premium and claims accounting, with the ability to accurately manage financial transactions, settlements and reconciliations.

  • Comfortable managing bordereaux submissions from receipt through to validation, reconciliation and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of the operational lifecycle between brokers, coverholders, TPAs and insurers.
  • Demonstrable experience investigating and resolving accounting, settlement and data discrepancies.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and perform complex reconciliations.
  • Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to prioritise competing deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across underwriting, finance, claims and operations teams.
  • Proactive and solution-focused, with a natural ability to identify issues and drive them through to resolution.
