Overview

In this role you will lead clinical care for an older adult inpatient caseload within a well-established multi-disciplinary team at The Harbour, Blackpool. You will assess, diagnose and treat patients, with attention to physical health alongside psychological and social factors, and provide out-of-hours cover. The post supports flexible or part-time working and a development-driven culture with opportunities in supervision, education, and potential digital leadership, contributing to a high-quality, patient-centered service.

Responsibilities

• Responsible Clinician for a defined caseload
• Assess patients referred by community teams and manage admissions at The Harbour Hospital
• Provide out-of-hours clinical cover
• Holistic assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning
• Coordinate care considering physical, psychological and social factors

Key requirements

• Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
• On GMC Specialist Register or eligible for entry within 6 months of interview
• Section 12 Approved at the time of commencing employment or eligible within 3 months
• Ac status (Approved Clinician) or eligible within 3 months
