Freelance Content Creator (AI & Creative Technology)

Salary Negotiable freelance day rate depending on experience, capability and portfolio.

Hours Flexible freelance arrangement. Typically 1-3 days per week depending on project requirements and content schedule. Some on-site attendance in London will be required for content creation and filming.

• Create high-quality video, photography and digital content for Spectra Stone across multiple platforms.
• Develop content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Identify and capture compelling stories from our manufacturing processes, projects, materials and craftsmanship.
• Produce behind-the-scenes, short-form and cinematic content showcasing the business.
• Experiment with AI tools to create innovative imagery, video and visual concepts.
• Generate creative ideas and campaigns that help communicate the Spectra brand and capabilities.
• Translate complex manufacturing and construction processes into engaging visual content.
• Work independently to propose and develop content opportunities rather than simply responding to briefs.
• Build an understanding of Spectra’s people, products, processes and clients to create authentic and impactful storytelling.
• Collaborate with the Spectra team to continually develop new ways of showcasing the business through content and emerging technology.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong interest in content creation, digital storytelling and visual communication.
• Experience creating video, photography or social media content through academic, personal or professional projects.
• Knowledge of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Interest in AI tools and emerging creative technologies, such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Veo, Sora or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with creative software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Blender or equivalent tools.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate original ideas and content concepts.
• Excellent visual awareness and an eye for detail.
• Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment and engaging with people to uncover stories and content opportunities.
• Portfolio demonstrating creative projects, content creation, video work, photography, AI experimentation or related work preferred.

We are more interested in creativity, initiative, curiosity and a strong portfolio than formal employment experience. Applicants should be excited by the opportunity to experiment with AI and help tell the story of a high-end manufacturing business.
