In this Consultant Psychiatrist role, you will provide medical leadership within the Hull Integrated Care Team for Older People, guiding clinical care for the older population. You will contribute to evolving the team’s clinical approach and participate in an on-call rota for Old Age Psychiatry. Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership within a multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to development and innovation of the team’s clinical approach
• Participate in the specialist Consultant on-call rota for Old Age Psychiatry and Learning Disability
• Provide safe and effective care and treatment within the HICTOP team
• Engage in research and support to develop the service
• Possibly pursue opportunities for clinical supervision and leadership roles
• Balance high-quality patient care with personal professional interests

Key requirements

• Fully GMC registered with a licence to practise
• MRCPsych UK or equivalent
• Included on the Specialist Register for Old Age Psychiatry or within 6 months of CCT
• Willingness to obtain/undertake Section 12(2) MHA training and renewability
• Holds valid UK driving licence
