Substation Field Technician — Maintenance & Inspection (Company Vehicle)

National Grid in England is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to service high-voltage equipment across substations. You will travel between sites in a company vehicle, perform inspections, and carry out routine maintenance to keep the power network running safely and efficiently.

You’ll work mainly on your own to targets, following digital work instructions on an iPad, with training and PPE provided. A practical, reliable mindset and a full UK driving licence are essential.
