QA Inspector

Our client, a world leader in defence engineering solutions, has an immediate requirement for Aerospace conversant Quality Inspector.

The role involves verifying product against engineering drawings, technical specifications and detailed quality criteria to international aerospace standards.

The successful candidate will support a fast-paced work environment at various stages of build with the inspection of sub assembly and major products ensuring conformity and customer satisfaction.

Requirements (essential)

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and written specifications
• Proven experience verifying products against defined criteria using a range of measuring equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Previous experience within the aerospace manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of the Quality function within an aerospace manufacturing environment

Requirements (desirable)

• Understanding of AS9100, AS9102, and CAA Part 21G standards
• Previous inspection experience, ideally within the aerospace industry
• Relevant Engineering and/or Quality qualifications would be highly advantageous.
