QA Inspector
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Contract: 6 months to a year

AmbiTEK is recruiting a detail-oriented QA Inspector for our client based in Trafford Park, Manchester, on an initial six-month temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with quality inspection experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will play an important role in maintaining product quality, ensuring compliance with required standards, and supporting accurate quality documentation throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out final inspections of finished parts and assemblies, primarily within the designated product group.
- Perform in-process inspections to verify that products meet specified quality requirements.
- Interpret technical information and inspection data to prepare accurate certification documentation.
- Complete and maintain quality assurance records, including quality control plans, inspection plans and test reports.
- Generate and complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
- Work closely with Production, Customer Services and Commercial teams to support quality processes and resolve inspection-related issues.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail.
You should be able to interpret technical and inspection data accurately, maintain organised documentation, and communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments. Experience with FAIR documentation and AS9100 requirements will be relevant to the role.
