Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a secure male inpatient mental health service on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving service improvement, supporting recovery-focused rehabilitation, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Your key responsibilities will be;

• Assess, treat, and safely discharge patients
• Lead CPA and ICR processes to ensure compliance
• Manage psychiatric medication prescribing and reviews
• Collaborate with NHS clinicians and external stakeholders
• Ensure delivery of NICE guidelines and quality standards
• Support complaints handling and co-production initiatives

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has;

• Full GMC registration and licence to practice
• MRCPsych or international equivalent
• Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status
• Strong experience in general adult psychiatry
• Confidence managing complex mental health presentations
