GAIN Clinical Specialist (Medical Educator)

Overview

As a GAIN Clinical Specialist, you will provide hands-on clinical support to Medical Aesthetic customers in the UK, ensuring safe and effective use of Galderma’s non-surgical product range. You work closely with Account Managers to drive product adoption and deliver tailored education in clinics. You will explain the science behind products and support customers through their educational journey, maintaining high clinical and regulatory standards. This role offers meaningful impact by elevating practitioners’ skills and patient outcomes in aesthetic dermatology.

Responsibilities

• Identify customers who need technical/clinical support in collaboration with the sales team and deliver in-clinic training to boost confidence with Galderma’s non-surgical range
• Provide hands-on training on filler techniques (needle and cannula), product reconstitution, and injection methods; support new product launches
• Deliver technical training on reconstitution, marking up, injection techniques, and adoption of AART and HITs
• Explain the science and clinical relevance of Galderma products and articulate benefits to customers
• Assess customer readiness for next educational steps to pace learning appropriately
• Attend trainings to maintain high knowledge standards and support Regional Business Managers with product and clinical training
• Collaborate with Galderma education team to align with UK & Ireland educational strategy
• Engage only in on-label discussions and ensure proper professional registrations and cosmetic insurance coverage
• Maintain medical/clinical qualifications and stay updated on cosmetic and non-surgical aesthetic practices

Key requirements

• Medical expertise in aesthetic medicine
• Experience delivering clinical support to healthcare practitioners in commercial healthcare
• Strong knowledge of the aesthetics medical community and Galderma portfolio
• Teaching ability and communication skills
• Competency in performing treatments/procedures with Galderma products
• Medical/clinical qualifications in non-surgical aesthetic procedures; Level 7 or master’s preferred
• Valid registration with GMC/NMC/GDC; ABPI qualification preferred
• Excellent communication skills
