SAP Senior Consultant – Security

Overview

In this role you will lead complex SAP transformation programmes with a focus on Security and GRC. You will act as the primary SAP Security & GRC adviser across critical projects, designing scalable solutions and aligning them with business goals. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective SAP security configurations, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams. This position supports Yorkshire Water’s mission to deliver reliable services while protecting the environment, offering a meaningful opportunity to shape security posture across SAP landscapes.

• Salary: 53,059–67,807

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex SAP transformation programmes and promote Security & GRC best practices
• Serve as the primary SAP Security & GRC technical consultant across multiple SAP projects
• Design and implement robust, scalable SAP Security and GRC solutions aligned to objectives
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into SAP security solutions
• Act as a liaison between business teams and technology, ensuring successful project delivery
• Provide expert guidance on SAP Security & GRC strategy, governance, and compliance
• Work with internal technology teams and external partners on transformation initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement of SAP security processes, controls, and practices
• Support delivery of SAP projects ensuring secure, compliant, fit-for-purpose solutions

Key requirements

• 2-5 years of SAP & GRC technical experience
• Experience with transformation projects involving multiple SAP products
• Implementation experience of SAP cloud products including ARIBA, Concur, SuccessFactors and BTP
• Desirable: GRC and/or GRC IAG configuration experience
• Experience building and delivering project plans and leading a team
