Head of Restructuring & Insolvency- Boutique City law firm

Overview

As Head of Restructuring & Insolvency, you will lead and grow the non-contentious insolvency practice within a long-established boutique City firm. You will shape strategy, oversee administrations, receiverships and CVAs, and manage a team to deliver high-quality restructuring documents and client work. You will work closely with IPs and senior colleagues to expand the practice and maintain a strong London/South-East presence. This role offers strategic influence, collaborative culture and a healthy work‑life balance. You will join a firm focused on quality, breadth of work and supportive teamwork.

• Lead and develop the insolvency & restructuring practice, with emphasis on non-contentious work
• Oversee administrations, receiverships and CVA-related activities
• Produce and review restructuring documents and plans
• Collaborate with IPs and external stakeholders
• Manage and develop staff within the team
• Drive growth and client relationships in London/South-East markets

Key requirements

• England & Wales qualified solicitor
• Existing partner within a high-quality London or South-East practice
• Client following or ability to bring key clients
