Obsidian is seeking researchers to work on high-level physics problems across subfields. This is research-grade work where written reasoning is essential, and results must be verifiable by another specialist.
Ideal candidates hold a PhD in quantum information or quantum optics with a strong publication record, and are proficient in LaTeX, Python, SymPy and Jupyter. The role offers 10 hours per week at $80 to $110 per hour, with remote, asynchronous work and no fixed hours.
