Senior Specialist Biomedical Scientist, Microbiology (On-Call)

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a proactive HCPC-registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join the Microbiology Department. The post covers 37.5 hours per week across 7 days, with out-of-hours and on-call duties, including late shifts and weekend cover.

The department delivers Microbiology services (serology and molecular) to Worcestershire, handling ~690,000 specimens annually, and operates with ISO accreditation and active staff training and CPD support.
