Associate Principal/Pricing & Market Access (Life Sciences practice)

Overview

In this Associate Principal role, you lead analytical work within CRA’s Life Sciences practice, guiding project teams and shaping strategic insights for clients in pharma, biotech, diagnostics, and medical devices. You will manage smaller projects or major sub-tasks, oversee analyses, and maintain client relationships while contributing to business development. The role blends quantitative and qualitative work with strong people leadership and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Independently design analytic tasks and contribute to the overall analytic framework
• Interface with client counterparts to present findings and discuss progress
• Draft reports or presentations and contribute to client deliverables
• Assist in project planning and budget management efforts
• Provide training and technical supervision to junior staff and review analyses
• Contribute to business development through client proposals and meetings

Key requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in life sciences or a relevant analytical degree with significant work experience
• 5-7 years of consulting experience
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
• Proven staff and project management capabilities
• Client interaction, facilitation, presentation, budgeting, and project planning skills
• Deep knowledge of pricing and market access issues in European and global markets
• Occasional travel
