EMEA GTM Senior BDM, GTM Surge Acceleration

Overview

In this role you drive AI adoption for AWS’s most strategic EMEA enterprise customers, shaping go-to-market and supervising production deployments. You act as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders, blending industry expertise with executive advisory and AI-enabled transformation. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, prioritize use cases, and orchestrate delivery from discovery to production across complex accounts. You’ll contribute thought leadership and represent AWS at events, accelerating AI adoption at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI engagement lifecycle for Surge accounts—from opportunity qualification to production deployment
• Identify opportunities, diagnose industries, prioritize GenAI use cases, and orchestrate cross-functional delivery
• Lead customer engagements at C-suite and Line-of-Business levels and translate business pain points into actionable GenAI roadmaps
• Build relationships with LOB executives, not just IT, and collaborate with account teams, solution architects, GenAIIC, ProServe, ISVs, and partners
• Represent AWS at industry events and create POVs, executive briefs, and reference demos
• Maintain executive relationship continuity through governance and production launch
• Create scalable, repeatable AI deployment motions and manage high-volume engagements across multiple countries
• Travel to customer sites, events, and meetings as needed
• Provide senior leadership with progress reviews, roadblocks, and strategic opportunities for AI adoption across industries
• Sustain industry leadership by contributing to thought leadership content and industry-specific materials

Key requirements

• 10+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise tech sales
• 5+ years in Financial Services or Software & Internet industries
• Proven track record engaging C-suite/VP-level stakeholders in technology and AI discussions
• Experience translating complex business challenges into technology roadmaps and orchestrating cross-functional delivery
• Experience leading multi-year initiatives spanning business and technology across enterprises
• Ability to operate across multiple organizations and countries in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Experience presenting to executive audiences and managing GTM strategies and partner ecosystems
• Fluency in multiple European languages (preferred)
