Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business which is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance professional seeking a varied role with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to develop their career.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance activities while supporting management reporting and commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll.
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
- Preparing VAT returns and managing CIS requirements.
- Completing bank reconciliations and supplier payments.
- Supporting year-end accounts and improving financial processes.
About You
- Previous experience in a varied finance or accounts role.
- Experience with payroll and management accounts.
- Good understanding of VAT, reconciliations and financial controls.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Confident working independently in a hands-on role.
- AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience would be advantageous.
- Experience with SAP, BrightPay or within an SME environment would be beneficial.
