Robert Half is delighted to be supporting a well-regarded charity in the search for a Part-Time Finance Manager to join their team based just outside of Ilkley.
Reporting to the Operations Director, this is a broad and rewarding role with responsibility for overseeing all finance activities across the charity. You will play a key role in ensuring the organisation remains financially strong, compliant with relevant legislation, and well-positioned to support its ongoing mission.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a hands-on role, partnering with senior stakeholders, and making a meaningful impact within a values-driven organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day finance function for the charity
- Preparing timely and accurate financial reports for senior leadership
- Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management
- Producing management accounts and financial analysis
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and charity legislation
- Supporting audit processes and year-end reporting
- Overseeing financial controls and identifying areas for process improvement
- Providing financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
About you:
- Ideally fully qualified, although strong QBE candidates will also be considered
- Previous experience in a broad finance role, ideally with ownership of the full finance function
- Strong technical finance skills and a sound understanding of financial controls and compliance
- Able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
