Salaried General Practitioner – Urgent Treatment Centre | Morecambe

This is an exciting opportunity for a GP to join our amazing team of clinicians at FCMS!

• Contract– Permanent
• Hours – Full-time, Part-time, Term time hours, Up to full time available (37.5hrs / week), Shift patterns: Negotiable, 0800 2000hrs (MUTC), 1900 0000hrs (OOH), 0000 0800hrs (OOH)
• Salary – £50.81 – 57.62 per hour plus adjustments for nights and weekends.. Plus Golden Hello of £2500 dependent on contracted hours. This is paid in instalments, the first half is paid after 3 months of employment and the second half is paid after 6 months of employment.

Main duties of the role

Unlike sessional GPs, the Salaried GP is expected to contribute to the strategic and operational development of services, support the clinical governance team, provide supervision and mentorship to colleagues, and actively contribute to innovation and service improvement across the business unit.

The post includes protected non-clinical time to support these additional responsibilities, alongside regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and study leave.
