We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior vision systems engineer to join our dynamic team in the battery manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, development, implementation and maintaining vision systems for automate inspection, measurement, and quality control in battery production processes
The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation and machine vision, with a strong background in engineering and handsu0027on experience with vision system integration in a manufacturing environment. The Vision Systems Engineer will be proactive, collaborative, and capable of solving complex technical challenges while maintaining a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.

The Process Engineering team is a dynamic group working across a range of areas such as electrode, cell assembly, FA&T (formation, ageing and testing), control and automation, manufacturing systems, digital manufacturing, process safety and logistics engineering. Being a relatively new team, youu0027ll play a critical part in creating processes and help building large scale manufacturing lines from the ground up.
What Youu0027ll Bring…
- Extensive knowledge of machine vision technologies, including camera systems, lighting, optics, and image processing tools (OpenCV, MATLAB, Halcon, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and familiarity with machine learning libraries for vision system applications.
- Experience in integrating vision systems into automated manufacturing environments, ideally in highu0027precision industries such as battery production or electronics.
- Familiarity with smart manufacturing solutions, machine learning, IoT, and AIu0027driven vision technologies is a plus.
- Bacheloru0027s or Masteru0027s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing environments or automated inspection systems is strongly preferred.
