Rutherford Cross is working with a growing and forward-thinking business to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst into a key role within the finance team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting business decision-making across a broad range of operational and commercial areas.

This role would suit a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or an experienced analyst looking to progress their career within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The Role:
n
n
Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include:
n
n
- n
- Preparing and analysing monthly management information and KPI reporting
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
- Providing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions
- Delivering insight into business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
- Partnering with operational teams to challenge performance and improve profitability
- Supporting month-end reporting and management accounts activities
- Driving continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting tools
- Assisting with business cases, investment appraisals and ad-hoc commercial analysis

About You:
n
n
- n
- Experience within a finance, accounting or analytical role
- Studying towards ACCA / CIMA
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience preparing management information and interpreting financial data
- Commercially minded with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Confident communicating with stakeholders across different levels of the business
- Naturally inquisitive with a proactive approach to improving processes and performance
