Technical Director (Building Services)

Overview

In this role you provide technical and design leadership on large-scale Data Centre projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality mechanical and public health designs. You will help set standards, promote best practice, and support risk management across the UK and overseas. You’ll work with Project Directors, Associates and senior engineers to drive technical excellence during an era of growth. This is a strategic opportunity to influence design quality and project outcomes on high-profile facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design leadership to project leaders and senior engineers
• Oversee the technical aspects on large-scale Data Centre projects
• Contribute to development and application of mechanical and public health design standards
• Promote best practice and manage design risk across projects and regions
• Support cross-group collaboration during a period of growth
• Influence standards, concepts, and quality of design across UK and overseas

Key requirements
