Contract Manager Ardley

Overview

In this role you will manage fuel supply contracts across Local Authority, Commercial & Industrial, and Merchant sectors to ensure compliance, quality, and continuity. You will work with site teams, suppliers and hauliers to optimise volume, price and delivery while maintaining strong contract governance. The role supports the Head of Contracts and contributes to Viridor’s energy-from-waste strategy and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage all fuel supply contracts and ensure compliance with legal and company standards
• Monitor contract performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop risk registers and contingency plans for supply continuity
• Collaborate with site teams, suppliers, and hauliers to ensure fuel quality and timely delivery
• Source fuel to meet volume, price, and quality targets
• Maintain accurate records and act as main contact for contractual matters
• Support and deputise for the Head of Contracts as needed
