AgriSearch is recruiting a Farm Liaison Officer to join the UK Dairy Carbon Network (UK-DCN) team in Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate will work closely with dairy farmers across our network of 20 farms, supporting practical measures to reduce carbon emissions and improve farm efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities include on-farm engagement, data collection, liaising with project partners and supporting farmer events and knowledge exchange activities.
Location: Hillsborough, with travel throughout Northern IrelandSalary: £38,000Hours: 37.5 hours per weekContract: 18 months, with the possibility of extension subject to performance and business needStart date: Immediate start available
Applicants should have a tertiary qualification in agriculture or a related discipline, or be currently undertaking a relevant qualification as a placement student. At least one year’s recent relevant experience in the dairy sector is essential, alongside good communication and organisational skills, a full valid driving licence and access to suitable transport.
