Warehouse Operative – Days

Pertemps North Midlands seeks a Warehouse Operative – Days for a full-time, temp-to-perm position in Burton upon Trent, easily reached from Branston, Barton under Needwood, Walton and Lichfield. The fixed day shift pays £12.79 per hour, with permanent status possible within six weeks.

We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team on the near outskirts of Burton, easily accessible from Branston, Barton under Needwood, Walton & Lichfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

Car drivers are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
• Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock.
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good timekeeping, reliability and a flexible approach to work.
• The ability to carry out manual handling duties where required (sometimes can involve more heavy lifting when hand-palletising goods).
• Minimum 12 months within a logistics / store room environment.
