Futureheads is partnering with a growing consumer health technology business to hire a Lead Product Designer for its Growth team.
This is a hands‑on leadership role spanning acquisition and retention. You’ll help shape how customers discover the service, convert and keep coming back, combining excellent design craft with experimentation and commercial judgement.
Alongside your own design work, you’ll manage around 3 designers, helping them develop and deliver their best work.
What you’ll do
- Own design across the customer funnel, from acquisition and landing pages through checkout and retention.
- Identify opportunities, frame hypotheses and use A/B testing to improve the experience.
- Connect design decisions to measurable outcomes, including conversion, retention and revenue.
- Stay close to the craft, creating polished visual and interaction design across mobile web and app experiences.
- Develop reusable patterns and systems that help the team move quickly.
- Coach and manage designers, provide clear feedback and support their development.
- Work closely with product, engineering and growth colleagues to prioritise opportunities and deliver at pace.
What we’re looking for
- Strong B2C product design experience, with a portfolio showing excellent visual and interaction craft.
- Evidence of improving acquisition and retention journeys, with clear examples of the metrics you influenced.
- Confidence designing experiments, interpreting results and deciding what to test next.
- Previous line management experience is preferred. Strong mentoring experience will also be considered if you have a genuine desire to manage.
- Comfortable defining problems, working through ambiguity and making pragmatic decisions.
- Clear communication, openness to feedback and a collaborative approach.
Experience in a startup or scale‑up would be valuable. You should also be comfortable conducting usability testing, writing UX copy and using AI tools to support your work, or keen to develop those skills.
What’s on offer
A salary of up to £120,000, equity, pension contributions, development support and wellbeing benefits. The team works three days a week from its London office, including Fridays, with flexibility around working hours.
