Engineering Manager, AI Platform Lead Generative AI Remote

The Economist Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Applied AI and Data Science team. You will own health, delivery and growth of the group, while remaining hands-on on core work, writing and reviewing code, and guiding architecture for AI-enabled products.

You will shape agentic AI, collaborate with product, data engineers and security, set coding standards, ensure guardrails and compliance, and mentor engineers and data scientists as the AI roadmap evolves.
