Commercial Litigation Lawyer

Overview

In this role you will lead a high-value commercial litigation practice within a respected Glasgow boutique. You’ll manage an autonomous caseload across property disputes, insolvency, company law, construction, and contractual claims, with Court of Session exposure. You’ll help grow the litigation function and have a path to leadership, including building your own team. Responsibilities

• Own and manage a strong caseload independently
• Develop and nurture relationships to generate work
• Handle high-value disputes across multiple areas (property, insolvency, company law, construction, contracts)
• Participate in Court of Session matters
• Grow the litigation function and potentially build a team
• Collaborate with L500 recognised colleagues in a boutique setting
• Focus on quality, strategy, and meaningful client outcomes
• Engage in business development and networking to expand the client base

Key requirements

• 3+ PQE in commercial litigation
• Strong background in commercial litigation (broad experience preferred)
• Confident running own caseload
• Court experience is essential
• Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-led mindset
