Project Manager

Overview

In this permanent, site-based Project Manager role, you will lead delivery on a regulated nuclear project from Seascale, aligning subcontractor procurement, schedule control, and team performance with NEC-based contracts. You will own the project programme, budgets, and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring compliance and successful outcomes. You collaborate with clients and external bodies, while shaping targets and improvement plans. This is an opportunity to drive delivery in a safety-critical sector with clear impact on project success and client satisfaction.

Pay / Benefits

• 60,000-75,000 Per Annum DOE

Responsibilities

• Cooperate in subcontractor and supplier procurement and critically review subcontracts prior to award
• Represent the project and client, external bodies and others as required
• Manage production, review and update of the project programme
• Oversee staff requirements, budgets, recruitment processes and annual reviews
• Set and review stretch targets for the team and track progress
• Produce project reports, forecasts and improvement plans and own their contents

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Projects (preferably; Civil background desirable)
• Strong commercial awareness with NEC Contracts
• Experience in highly regulated sectors (Nuclear)
• Desirable: Tier 1 Contractor experience
• Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to obtain SC Security Clearance
