Senior Planning Manager

Overview

In this role you own the UK production plan end-to-end and lead the planning team within HelloFresh’s data-driven Planning function. You’ll partner with the site director to balance efficiency, plan attainment and downtime while scaling the operational workforce and the calendar. You will shape planning strategy with data, collaborate with BI and Operations to automate processes, and monitor KPIs to drive cost savings. This is a high-impact role focused on elevating planning maturity and delivering a reliable, scalable plan for hundreds of thousands of customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the UK production plan end-to-end and lead the planning team
• Balance efficiency, plan attainment, downtime and flexibility in daily operations
• Scale the workforce planning and manage the seasonal calendar
• Coach and develop planning staff to meet role expectations
• Improve planning strategy using data and feedback to meet changing business needs
• Collaborate with BI, Operations and stakeholders to automate processes and refine tools
• Generate and analyse weekly/monthly KPIs and drive cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety and standards (e.g., BRCGS, ISO)

Key requirements

• strong background in production or labour planning with forecasting experience
• people leadership experience with team development
• advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills with ability to apply AI to planning
