Finance Director

Overview

In this Finance Director role you will shape the group’s financial strategy and support its growth trajectory. You’ll work closely with the CEO to guide acquisitions, reporting, and governance as the business scales. The position combines hands-on financial leadership with a commercial mindset to sustain robust controls in a lean, fast-moving environment. A key opportunity is driving integration of acquired entities and delivering value across the group. You will play a pivotal part in turning ambitious growth plans into measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead AIM reporting, audits, financial announcements and investor-related reporting
• Manage acquisitions from due diligence to deal execution and financial structuring
• Oversee post-acquisition integration and successful incorporation into the group
• Own cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls
• Review and improve finance systems and processes to support growth

Key requirements

• ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experience in a listed business, ideally AIM exposure
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills
• Practical M&A experience including due diligence and integration
• Commercial, proactive, and able to operate in a lean, fast-moving environment
• Hands-on self-starter who builds and improves processes
