Product Manager

Overview

In this contract role, you will drive a PLM-focused product programme within a well-established retail business, from migration through go-live. You will integrate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure a smooth delivery and adoption. You’ll own risks, plan migration activities, and guide data flows and system dependencies. The position offers hands-on impact on a live programme with cross-functional collaboration and rapid value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage product delivery in a complex PLM implementation
• Drive go-live readiness and migration activities
• Coordinate with vendors, implementation partners, and internal teams
• Oversee risks, issues, dependencies and milestones
• Own backlog prioritisation with BAs and delivery teams
• Support testing, business readiness, training, and adoption
• Join a live programme and contribute quickly to value
• Navigate integrations and data flows across systems

Key requirements

• Product Management or Product Ownership experience on complex system implementations
• Track record of delivering a PLM implementation through to go-live
• Confident working with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders
• Solid understanding of integrations, data flows and system dependencies
• Experience planning and running migration and cutover activities
• Ownership of risks, issues, dependencies and milestones
• Backlog management and prioritisation with BAs and delivery teams
• Support for testing, business readiness, training and adoption
