Overview

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of complex technology solutions for UK Health and Public Services clients, working with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical designs. You will help steer delivery across Agile and Waterfall projects, leveraging cloud, SaaS and emerging AI tech to improve project outcomes. You’ll build strong client relationships and communicate solution details to diverse stakeholders. This is a hands-on, delivery-driven role with exposure to modern platforms and multi-cloud environments. You will help drive digital transformation in public services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop and deliver complex technology solutions
• Translate business needs into actionable design documentation
• Communicate technical solutions to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge
• Support delivery planning, problem-solving and decision-making across the project lifecycle
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers and internal stakeholders
• Analyse data to inform system design and evidence-based delivery decisions
• Work across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments and adapt as needed
• Support and collaborate with junior team members to ensure effective delivery
• Apply agentic AI and generative AI tools to support project delivery
• Adapt quickly to new client environments, technologies and delivery challenges

Key requirements

• 2–3 years’ experience across the technology delivery lifecycle (project/ programme management, design, development or QA)
• Experience delivering complex technology solutions, ideally involving cloud or SaaS
• Practical understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience working with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, SMEs and Developers
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel and Microsoft Project
• Experience using agentic AI and generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude or AWS Q) in delivery
• Ability to analyse data and translate business needs into design documentation
• Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with external clients and customers
